Dear Diego

Moving to San Diego,California was the best and the scariest decision I have ever made. However, finding a home in North Park has made the journey so worth it. I mean this little neighborhood fulfills all my needs from a plethora of local restaurants to choose from, bars with live entertainment any night of the week, boutiques like Rae's (women's apparel boutique on University blvd stop in and tell Christina I sent you!), Pigment (home decor, gift items, and the prettiest succulent garden section where Stephanie will help you pick the perfect succulent arrangement for your home), Holy Matcha  the prettiest powered green tea shop and the farmers market available every Thursday with delectable local fruit and food. I can't get enough of all of the endless amenities North Park has to offer and I intend to indulge in it all. Most importantly, what makes this little neighborhood of mine so special are the people. I have met some of the most amazing, caring, positive people and their happy spirits are infectious. I mean when you live where other people come to vacation you can't help but to smile!

For this post I wanted it be fun, full of color and showcase the vibrate and cool vibes of my new home. I am not ashamed to admit that my closet is 80% black but I am working on it and having fun doing so!

Wrap tops, dresses and skirts are an essential to any wardrobe selection. They are easily adjusted and enhances any body type and this striped wrap top I purchased from Forever21 embodies just that. Strips, gingham and polka dots have been spotted all over my favorite online shops as well as on my social media feeds in all silhouettes and I can't get enough.

Now can we talk about these jeans I got from H&M! I have never been able to find jeans that fit me at H&M . Although, these didn't initially, after a trip to the alterations they are easily my favorite pair of jeans. I use to cringe at the sight of mom jeans and now you can't get me to wear anything else. With my small waist and hour glass shape (thanks Mom), high waist jeans are my best friend. Excuse my excitement, but when I find the perfect pair I can't help but celebrate and if your in the same boat as me you can understand my struggle.

I love the pop of color my favorite handbag from Target added to this look and at a price of $12 I could not pass it up. I love to find a good bargain. The eccentric vibrate hue makes a statement with any outfit I wear. Last, my favorite Calvin Klein summer sandals finished this look and are super comfy for strutting through the city streets.
