70's Trippin

How to style wide leg pants

You guys don't know how proud I am of myself for not wearing black and making an effort to add more color into my wardrobe. Black will always be my go to color, but it's also fun to change it up a bit. I'm not going to say my next post won't be all black, but let's just enjoy this moment. I have long legs and finding pants long enough seems to be nearly impossible. I was happy to spot these in Forever21, in such a great strip with hues of reds and burn orange. I decided to get them in a medium so they would be a little longer. They are definitely giving me 70's vibes paired with these awesome espadrilles. I decided to style these pants with my favorite swimsuit cover up. Yes this is a coverup from forever21. I love the texture play it adds to this look and although it's as long as the pants the side splits make it flow nicely and elevate this look.

I have really been encouraging myself lately. It's okay to toot your own horn, we get beat up sometimes doing this thing called adulting and it's nice to celebrate yourself. This look gives me so much confidence and I hope you can see it through these bomb photos taken by Joshua, his talent amazes me. It also helped that my friend was hyping me in the background. Being able to blog and share with you guys gives me an outlet and break from my 9 to 5.

I also picked up these round framed sunnies from forever21. I have become a collector of sunnies, I have a small head and find that huge frames or aviators fit my face perfectly. I don't spend a lot on sunnies, because to be honest I don't trust myself to handle them with care. So until then Forever21 is my go to for affordable and cute sunnies.

These Target Gold Metallic Espadrilles are the perfect shoe for the summer and super comfy.

I have to admit that I don't have self control sometimes when it comes to shoes. I specifically went into target for a beach towel and left out with these gold platform sandals and of course I "needed" them. Target had just marked down all of their sandals for fall and I just happened to be in the shoe section, so it was fate lol. They were only $20 bucks so I couldn't pass them up. They are super comfy and make a nice addition to my collection. When was the last time you "needed" something; a pair of shoes, handbags and how did you justify it?
