Olive with a Twist

When I signed up for the bloggers trip to Palm Springs I knew I had to make sure I was prepared for all the sightseeing adventures and floods of new photos. I am the worst at packing and the best at overpacking. This time around I planned out my looks beforehand and packed accordingly. I knew we would be doing a lot of sightseeing so I wanted to be comfy while making a statement. That tends to be what's always consistent with my style. Whether I am in jeans and sneakers or a dress, I want to be comfortable and cute. Also known as the causal chic. Use at your own leisure!

I have always loved jumpsuits, I guess it is the ease of putting on one piece, until you have to go to the bathroom.  I spotted this olive jumpsuit with light white vertical stripes, tortoise button detail and thick straps from forever21. It was the perfect piece for my bloggers trip and the outfit turned out perfect. Not only did the olive jumpsuit compliment my complexion but it blended well with the outdoor adventures. The perfect neutral!

I paired the jumpsuit with a white wrap top with ruffle detail sleeves. The ruffle sleeve style has been trending in tops and dresses formed in many colors and patterns. It adds flare to a classic white wrap top. As seasons end you can always count on great Forever21 sales and this is where I discovered these eye catching coral sandals for $5! I wish I was able to purchases more colors because they are amazingly comfortable and great for spring.

Let's talk about this fringe beauty of a bag I purchased from 8500 ft in the air! I wanted to acquire something as memorabilia while enjoying a intriguing trip. I spotted this amazing cross body during the time of exploring an incredible gift shop . I can never say no to a cognac color bag and with fringe detail it was a steal. I completed the look with my favorite yellow framed sunnies from H&M.

I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I enjoyed running around Palm Springs in it. What are your go to pieces for the spring?
